“Peace of Mind” Contest rules

April 1 to October 27, 2022

Contest

This contest is organized and sponsored by Groupe Vertdure, (hereinafter “Vertdure”). Contest runs from Thursday, April 1 until the closing date and time of 11:59 p.m. (Eastern time) on October 27.

Who can enter

Only Vertdure customers who satisfy the eligibility requirements set out below will be eligible for the drawing of the grand prize.

Prize

Total value of $12,000 (Canadian dollars) in prizes to be won: 30 “Peace of Mind” lawn care packages worth $400 each.

1. Prizes: 30 “Peace of Mind” lawn care packages, worth $400 each.
   1. Peace of Mind packages will be valid for summer 2023.

Eligibility

Contest entrants must:

• live in the province of Quebec or the region of Ottawa in Ontario; and
• be at least 18 years of age on the draw date.

Runner‑up prize winners will be taken out of subsequent draws unless they re‑enter the contest.

Vertdure and employees, representatives and agents of Vertdure or any other Vertdure entity or subsidiary, and persons with whom they reside are not eligible to enter the contest.

To enter

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Entrants must fill out the online contest form on Vertdure’s website at http://www.vertdure.com/en/contest. Entrants must fill out their:

• First and last name
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Postak code

Details of the draws

Prizes

• The 30 winners will be selected from among all eligible contest entrants through thirty (30) electronic draws at the headquarters of Vertdure, located at 5445 1ère Avenue, Québec City, Quebec G1H 2V6, at 3 p.m. (Eastern time) on the following Fridays:

1. If the winner is a corporate body, the mathematical skill-testing question will be submitted to the person whose name appears on the entry form as the representative of the corporate body, or to any other designated representative thereof, and the prize will be awarded in the name of the corporate body indicated on the entry form.
2. To claim the prize, the winner must meet the eligibility conditions in these contest rules, and:
   • be reached by phone within five (5) business days of the draw;
   • correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question over the phone;
   • accept the prize as awarded;
   • consent to the use of their name, place of residence, photograph and voice in any contest-related advertising, without compensation; and
   • if requested, sign a declaration and release of liability form under the conditions set by Vertdure and return it within ten (10) days of receipt.
     
     Failing this, the organizers will select another winner. The subsequent draw will proceed in the same manner as described in these contest rules, with the exception of the date, which cannot be the same.
3. Prizes will be sent to winners within ten (10) days of the draw date.
4. The prize cannot be exchanged or transferred to another person or the winner’s successors or heirs.
5. Vertdure cannot be held liable if the prizes are lost or stolen.
